A New York Police officer was recently captured giving a brand new pair of boots and a pair of warm socks to a barefoot homeless man in Times Square in a picture that perfectly captures the holiday spirit. He's 25-year-old Lawrence DePrimo of Long Island. DePrimo found out the man wore a size 12 and went into a nearby Skeechers store and bought him some all-weather boots for $75. He told The New York Times that he's keeping the receipt in his bulletproof vest pocket "to remind me that sometimes people have it worse."
