• According to a survey of hiring managers, here are the seven phrases you should avoid putting on your resume:  "Highly qualified" . . . "hard worker" . . . "team player" . . . "problem solver" . . . "flexible" . . . "people person" . . . and "self-starter."  Instead, use specific examples and qualifications.  

 

  • BOB SEGER is doing a couple shows with KID ROCK in March.  The shows are happening in Minneapolis on March 15th, and in Fargo, North Dakota on March 16th.  It's unclear if this is it . . . or if more shows will be added later. 

 

  • A guy in Australia decided to go prospecting for gold in a field people have been searching through for the last 162 years.  He used a metal detector, kept at it . . . and on Wednesday, found a gold nugget that weighed TWELVE POUNDS.  Since gold is currently more than $1,600 an ounce, his nugget is worth $300,000.
