Don’t Skip Lunch
You really aren’t doing yourself any favors by skipping lunch… or any meal really. You are just setting yourself up for weight gain. GASP! But it is true.
A recent study watched two groups of dieters. They ate the same amount of calories, similar foods, and worked out about the same too. The only different, group A ate lunch at 12p and Group B ate lunch at 3p. Group A lost 5 lbs more than Group B. Researchers believe that by waiting so long to eat, group B slowed their metabolism down.
So, even if you cant eat a full meal… keep healthy snacks on the
ready. Almonds, banana with peanut butter, oatmeal, apples… lots of options.
