Because these little creatures pollinate our plants, they are responsible for the things we eat that keep us healthy. I read in an Eating Well magazine, “If it lowers cholesterol, improves eyesight or turbocharges the immune system, it was probably fertilized by a bee.” I don’t know about you but I find that pretty amazing.

A mustard seed is another miracle. It’s a teeny tiny little seed not much bigger than a pencil’s tip; it’s so very miniscule. And yet when you plant it in the ground, it can grow into a huge plant, or even a tree that the birds can perch in. Tiny seeds growing into plants, into food, into flowers, into fruit orchards, into soaring high trees that give us shade, shelter and oxygen – amazing things occur in nature!

You know what my other garden miracle is? The fact that some of my children actually enjoy helping me in the garden! If you have never planted a garden, start out small. Go get some pots and fill them up with plants. Go to your local nursery and find out what you can plant now for fall. If you are an avid gardener like myself, send me your photos for inspiration! I love to see miracles in the making. You can post your photos on my Facebook page!
