Brevard:Cocoa K9 Bear’s "America’s Top Dog" Cash Prize is Donated to School

Earlier this month the City of Cocoa presented a check to Cocoa High School for its track and field improvement project. The police department was honored to have contributed $10,000 to the project through our K-9 Unit, specifically Officer Dan Rhoades and K9 Bear.

In case you missed it, this team was one of the winners of America’s Top Dog, a nationally televised K9 competition featuring some of the best police and professional working K9’s in the country.

Team Bear’s prize for winning was $10,000, which the team donated back to the city in order to be given to Cocoa High School.
