Golfview Elementary Magnet School in Rockledge will close its campus to students for three days for cleaning â effectively immediatelyâ after a number of COVID-19 cases were identified there, Brevard Public Schools said in a statement Tuesday evening.
The school will be closed Wednesday through Friday. All Brevard County schools will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 for the Labor Day holiday. Officials will monitor the situation and determine whether a longer closure is needed, the district said, but unless other plans are announced, students should expect to return to the Golfview campus on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
