A Colorado man did just that in order to get a little closer to nature and a few birds. John-Reid Gordon says that he wears the homemade contraption because he loves bird watching and feels that turning his face into a bird feeder teaches you patience and helps you relax.
In a video taken at Gordonâs home in the mountains, he can be seen sporting a medley of nectar-dispensing devices while hummingbirds fly just inches from his face. He said that he tried traditional bird feeders on his property but then decided that wasn't intimate enough for him.Â
