Brevard County: FREE Coronavirus Testing Expanded Around Town

Health officials announced Wednesday that coronavirus testing will be expanded in Brevard County. 

Testing will be available by appointment and at no cost to anyone at the drive-thru location at the Florida Department of Health location in Viera. 

Anyone interested in receiving a test is asked to call 321-454-7141 for an appointment.

The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County has partnered with the Brevard County Housing and Human Services Department, Brevard County Parks and Recreation, and New Shiloh Christian Center to offer free COVID-19 testing in communities throughout the county.

Testing for the virus will be available regardless of symptoms and is not an antibody test. The test will be available at the following sites: 

Viera: Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday until further notice 9 a.m. to noon at DOH-Brevard Viera Clinic 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera

Merritt Island: Thursday, June 4, 9 a.m. to noon at Woody Simpson Community Center, 1590 Schoolhouse Street, Merritt Island

Titusville: Saturday, May 30 9 a.m. to noon at DOH-Brevard Titusville Clinic, 611 North Singleton Avenue, Titusville

Cocoa: Tuesday, June 2 9 a.m. to noon at Cocoa West Community Center, 230 South Burnett Road, Cocoa

Melbourne: Tuesday, June 9, 9 a.m. to noon at New Shiloh Christian Center, 3900 Sarno Road, Melbourne

Saturday, June 6, 9 a.m. to noon at DOH-Brevard Melbourne Clinic, 601 East University Boulevard, Melbourne
