Brevard Feel Good Story: It's BPS SCHOOL LUNCH HERO DAY!

THIS FRIDAY (May 1) is SCHOOL LUNCH HERO DAY!

If you are planning to pick up meals at one of our 27 school feeding sites, please consider recognizing our incredible Food & Nutrition Services team members for their hard work and efforts.

Please decorate your car, make a sign, give a honk or a shout out as you go through the line. Just something to let them know how appreciated they are! Our cafeteria staff – nearly 400 strong -- have been working the front lines to keep our children fed throughout this school closure.

As of April 23rd, they had prepared and distributed 924,254 meals!!! We hope you’d agree that they are certainly worthy of this recognition and the title of hero!
