Celebrity chef Robert Irvine was in Titusville on Tuesday at Loyd Have Mercy to film an episode for his show "Restaurant: Impossible." Since Monday.
Loyd Have Mercy has gone through ups and downs since opening in 2008. In 2012, the restaurant moved from its original home on South Park Avenue to the Searstown Mall. It currently occupies a stand-alone building near the mall.
Filming for the "Restaurant: Impossible" episode is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, with a (private) grand re-opening event planned for 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Loyd Have Mercy segment should air in the spring.
