U.S. Coast Guard search crews are looking for two boaters who did not return after leaving for a fishing trip from Port Canaveral Friday. The Coast Guard was continuing its search Sunday for two missing firefighters who failed to return from a boating trip off Florida’s coast Friday.
Justin Walker and Brian McCluney left Port Canaveral Friday morning in a 24-foot center console vessel to head toward the “8A” reef to fish, the Coast Guard said in a statement Saturday. Family members notified officials when they didn’t return by Friday evening. The U.S. Navy and Brevard County Sheriff's Office were also assisting in the search.
