Brevard School District Make Changes to 2019-2020 Calendar

Here's next year's calendar at a glance:

  • School year starts on a Monday, Aug. 12. 
  • No school on Labor Day Sept. 2, Columbus Day Oct. 14, Veterans Day Nov. 11, Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan. 20, Presidents Day Feb. 17, Good Friday April 10, the first day of Ramadan April 24 and Memorial Day May 25. 
  • Thanksgiving break lasts three days from Wednesday, Nov. 27 to Friday, Nov. 29.
  • Winter break spans almost three weeks from Monday, Dec. 23 to Wednesday, Jan. 8  
  • Spring break week takes place March 16.
  • Last day of school is Thursday, May 28.      
  • Early-release days are on Fridays.
